Gaeilge: ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’

When Ms Wyatt came to our school,

she talked to us about Australia.

We sang for her and we taught her some Irish.

She found ‘Slán‘ (goodbye) easy and she found

‘Go raibh maith agat’ (thank you) very hard.

We thought we would post some other useful phrases

We thought this would be a good one to start with.

Céad míle fáilte (A hundred thousand welcomes

(Pronounced: Cade meal a fault cha)
