This is Charlie.
Charlie has black hair like dark chocolate.
His eyes are green like a lizard.
His nose is cute like a puppy.
Charlie wanted to buy a pet.

He went to the pet shop,
but none of the animals there,
were cute.
There were only snakes
and lizards for sale.

‘I’ll try again another day,’ he said.
He walked home sad.
He tried to look happy
but he couldn’t.
He got home and turned on TV.
It was his favourite TV programme.
Maybe the day wasn’t so bad after all.
